The 8-Port model offers single console support via the local user port, while the 16-port version offers dual console support, allowing the flexibility of controlling switch configurations from more than one location, or by more than one user.

  • HP Unix Server support – HP9000 Servers can be managed using the Serial Interface Adapter (PN: 373035-B21) connected to the RS-232 management port to provide VT100 terminal emulation through the HP Server Console Switch
